Dumpshock Forums _ Shadowrun Missions _ Should we be wary of spoilers?

Posted by: RobertB Sep 5 2006, 03:48 PM

I was wondering if it is kosher to download and use Missions in home games (purely in an unofficial capacity) after we've played through them at a convention. I still intend to play in future Missions so I want to be wary of any spoilers.

Thanks,
Robert

By all means, please do so. I'm careful about minimizing spoilers for future scenarios in everything we release.

I'm not sure what you mean about an "unofficial" capacity. There is no "official" capacity. If you want to run the scenarios, then you're an official GM. That's all there is to it.

That brings up another question. I played Chasing the Dragon at Dragon*Con, and while Toast and Spanner didn't, Swamp Gator would have excellent reason to call them up and give them some info. I don't want to spoil the run for them.

Please don't share info about 'runs you've completed with folks who haven't played them. It's pretty much the same thing as having them go to the web site, DL them and read 'em.

Obviously I can't *stop* folks from doing this. But, it sort of ruins the fun of it.

Thanks for thinking of us Gator, but even though that mission (The Grab) stank of a setup, I don't want to spoil the shaft we're sure to get when playing Chasing the Dragon.
