Dumpshock Forums _ General Gaming _ Penny Arcade Exposition (The Seattle One)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_Arcade_Expo I've been meaning to go there for a couple years but never had the time, despite being local.

Well, this year is different, and I'll be hitting the con. I figured I'd ask if anyone else would be going. If anyone *has*, I'm curious about what it's actually like.

Sandstorm likely will have a booth there, and at this point, it looks like we may be running some Eclipse Phase and/or CthulhuTech games, along with demoing a variety of card and board games - like the Origins Award Winning Poo!!!

I'll be there all three days smile.gif as usual

Tip 1: get a group of friends to all go. That way someone can snag a table so y'all can have a place to sit if needed and go in rotations.
Tip 2: pick out key pannels you want to go to and show up 1/2 hour early at leased. Never try to go to back to back pannels
Tip 3: Theres some really cheap garages about 3 blocks closer to the water for Saturday and Sunday but they fill fast (like $5-$7 for the whole day)
Tip 4: Eat at odd hours (The creaps place right in front is cheap, fast, and good if you like creaps)
Tip 5: If you don't care about swag early Friday and Sunday are the best time to hit the vendor room to play the games you want.

Thanks for the info. biggrin.gif
I got at least one friend of mine coming along, although she'll be doing Enforcer duty.

First, Hi all, I'm a new guy around here, been reading off/on for a while, just got around to registering.

Second, going to PAX, and depending on the schedules/sessions, looking to GM a 4e campaign I've been working on for a bit.

Sandstorm will have room 212 in the tabletop gaming area. So if you want to GM a game during PAX, feel free to come on into room 212 - we'll have open gaming tables as well as tables for Eclipse Phase and other games. smile.gif
