Google has acquired the very first "driverless vehicle license" in the State of Nevada. Other states are purportedly not far from issuing similar licenses .

Driving is the most dangerous thing that many people do every day. It will be a good thing for these people to have the option to let software drive for them instead.
EDIT: I can hardly wait for Johnny Cabs!
