I'm surprised that nobody posted about the game yet. The deal is simple: as a member of one of the three secret societies (The Templars, The Illuminati, The Dragons) you just go and beat the crap out of any occult horror thing that dares to pop up. No character classes, no character levels, nine kinds of offensive gear of which you pick two, every kind has its skill set. Three ranged weapons (pistols, shotguns, rifles), three melee weapons (fists, blades, hammers), three kinds of magic (elemental, blood, chaos). Buy the game for $30/€30, play with no monthly fees OR limits. If you can be bothered to actually pay those 15 bucks/teuros a month, you get a reusable double XP boost, a monthly amount of credits for the microtransaction shop and a random item every month.

I think I'll start playing after Christmas.

A friend of mine used to play that. I may also pick it up after the New Year.

I'm rather tempted by it. Love having a modern setting MMO. If only we could get an awesome sci-fi MMO, then life would be complete.

I'm interested in it, but more for the setting than anything else -- it's time #120381232 that I wish something was a single-player game instead of an MMO.

I am currently trying this out. Name there is JackCross on Arcadia if anyone wants to get together in game. Or just chat.

So far it's wonderfully creepy.

OK, the name's SeriouslyMike, on Arcadia too. Rolling a Blade/Pistol DPS, currently branching out into Rifles (although I might take a look at the Assassin deck too, to see what it's based on).
