It TOTALLY rocks. Get it.
It takes alot of juice to run though. My computer is pretty SOTA and I have some issues with the music and speech sometimes freezing up the computer for a few seconds, even if I disabled high-quality sound. Still, it's really really good. I'm playing the insane vampire clan, and every now and then I hear this creepy whisper. The effect is masterfully done.
And the name of this game would be?
Backgammon: What's your sound card? Could be a problem with that. (Check for new drivers, et cetera.)
Nikoli: I think it's Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Kewl, thanks
Actually, I was checking some stuff online and it seems the pirated version (i.e. the one I have) has some bug issues the retail verison does not have. Serves me right. However, since I do intend to buy this game (simply couldn't wait the extra days it takes for it to get to stores) this shouldn't be problem much longer.
And yes, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Bad pirate, bad! *whipcrack*
Arrr!
*Bows head in shame*
I'm weak... it's just soooo easy to download games!
It's the Boo! box for you!
There, just ordered it online (hey, free shipping).
I am redeemed.
Thus begins your Golconda
Almost finished the game now, so here are a few tips for those looking tp pick it up:
The pirated copy IS inferior to retail. Retail does NOT suffer from sound and graphic glitches. So buy it.
Invest in Melee. I don't see how you can beast the game without near-maxed melee.
Firearms are not obsolete, they're pretty good against non-supernatural opponents. Then again so is melee, and melee works against everything.
Malkawhatevers are fun to play. Very funny text options. Running around in a pimp fur coat and a wiggly Dr. Seuss hat is irreplaceable.
When fighting multiple opponents, use your powers to crush all but one, and then feed on the last one (stun him with powers if you can) to regain lost blood.
Dat iz all.
