Really Krappy long day at work.
Huh, I followed http://www.no-contact.com/ from comments posted about the taser glove.
Any reason you couldn't incorporate such an "taser" add-on to clothing or armor in Shadowrun? Maybe with an even higher charge?

Strangely enough, I assume you'd get shocked.

Has anybody actually tried building this thing and made it work?

Well, the thing runs off a 9volt battery, so it probably doesn't have that much juice. I figure there'd be one jolt, and then that would be it.
Although now that I've watched the videos, I'd have to say the guy touching the jacket didn't look to distressed by it. Not like what an actual taser does to people.

Somebody failed their Spot check to see the sarcasm.

| http://lib.ru/INOFANT/STEFENSON/snow_crash_engl.txt_Piece40.16 She takes one step toward him, swings her arm around, and the end of the loose manacle strokes him in the neck. Just a caress, but it might as well be a two-handed blow from Satan's electric ax handle. That funky juice runs all up and down his spine, and suddenly, he's sprawled across a couple of shitty old wooden chairs and his pistol is rotating on the floor like the spinner in a children's game. |
I'd rather perfect the Bundy Stunner move myself.
Er, the Bundy Stunner is a taser. Just one with a nifty description.
On a second reading, she had both the Stunner, a self-defense shock system on her jacket (which was conducting elecricity to the handcuffs they'd helpfully slapped on her arm) and a can of something called Liquid Knuckles, which I imagine is some sort of chemical irritant/incapacitant in spray form.
Liquid Knuckles, mmm...

Well, I meant the move Ted Bundy used to knock the everliving crap out of a woman who he conned into getting into his car.
What, hitting them with his cast?
