Watch an average wage slave get physical in a hotel lobby. He defaults when he makes his first Unarmed Combat test and manages to make a security guard trip and fall, but he gets totally pwned when another one engages him in melee. It just goes to show that he clearly blew all his applicable pool already when the second one attacked him.

The first one is rolling all 1s on etiquette

The second one is lotsa 1s while defaulting Unarmed Combat and/or Intimidation.

I don't know. I can empathize with him. Seems like he was already having a rough time of it and then when his bag (or briefcase) spilled it was the last straw. Happens to me sometimes, too.

He was way past the point the hotel should've booted him well BEFORE knocking over that briefcase/whatever.
