Actually, with the release of Shadowrun 4th edition it will be canon that Azryl is not an awesome GM. Page 214 of the 4th ed core rulebook clearly states that.

Okay, in the area of Shadowrun, I'll brag about our group, which includes one of the 1st edition playtesters whose first character makes Shadowland posts in every sourcebook and has even appeared in novels . . . and who always brings great snacks! (The player brings the great snacks, that is.)

Here's a clue - the character is an elven fixer . . .
