Okay I remember photos of a ufo from a shadowrun book a while back. Now I recently read a live chat transcript (the most recent one) that suggested the UFO picture was explained.....what was the explaination?
My understanding was that it was a joke played by Fastjack. I was not, however part of the last chat.
"Montaincarver Regarding The Big D's will from ages past. There was the 'questionable' UFO pic from Mars that appeared there. Will ETs be explored in
SR anytime soon?
Peter Taylor The questionable UFO picture was followed up and explained by one of the adventures in the "Missions" adventure pack.
We have no plans to explore ETs in Shadowrun in the foreseeable future."
It was a fake. I believe it was explained in the Missions scenario book, but my memory has been somewhat shaky lately.
Edit: I guess not that shaky!
...yes it was. I altered the scenario though to make it more interesting.
Well again I already understand that it was explained....but what was said explaination...what was it really?
The reality was that there was some leftover magic stuff (ex.: troll skeletons) on Mars, and that someone digitally ruined the photos with obviously fake flying saucer inserts.

This is clearly a cover up! UFO's have been visiting Earth for decades if not centuries. They are using us and harvesting human organs to save their dying race!
absolutely! and they want to take away our water!! Don't forget that, the water...
Cheers!

I personally have always found it interesting that there were real, valid skeletons on Mars but that someone covered it up with the fake UFOs so people would assume the skeletons were fake, too.
I still wanna know how those mofos got to mars.
Maybe they hiked a lift when Halequin blew a part of Siberia into space?
ANybody that suggest dragon skeletons gets beaten to death with my shoe.
Ah, so you consider draconian measures?
...
pa-bum tsh.
But maybe the shoebeating should start with whoever rendered that CGI thing at yonderyears FASA art-department?
After further study the UCAS Air Force has arrived at the conclusion that the "Bones" in question are nothing more than rock formations. The resemblance to Troll bones is just a distortion in the images caused by a combination of swamp gas and the shadow of a passing weather balloon. Once again there are no Aliens and no Trolls on mars.
This information was confirmed by a pair of men wearing black clothing, driving a 1969 Lincoln Continental.
They presented no ID, nor any names, just confirmed the information, quite adamently. While making the glass of water the person got them earlier into Soymilk.
Well, if Aliens are real, I think my characters are going to have to try and get their hands on some of those Laser Weapons Ares has for sale...
