When firing APDS rounds at a spirit does it lower their "Hardened Armor" that is simulated by taking twice their force?

Yus. And stick-n-shock do elemental damage and cut armor in half.

Interesting. Why is the description for immunity have "armor" and "hardened armor" in quotes?

Because it's not typical (worn) armor, maybe?

The only real distinction between the 2 is this... with "Armor" any rating above the damage shunts the damage to Stun Damage, while with "Hardened Armor", If you cannot exceed the hardened armor rating, Damage is not shunted to Stun, it is ignored... in effect it just does not penetrate, nor does it even scratch the surface (well, maybe scratch it, a little), it bounces...
