I think LG and Samsung are working on similar systems.

The big issue will be to get the overlay to match the surroundings, so that a id box can be linked to the right person.

Love how it is only visible from one side btw. Now when will it reach military and police as a replacement red dot sight? Or in the military sense, used as a air support aim (perhaps for loitering predator drones). One look, multiple kills

Screw that, turn two of them into a pair of "smart goggles" and throw a camera on the gun with image recognition software.

heh, i guess red dot sight was not the proper word. What i was thinking was a in view crosshair of sorts that would tell you where your gun was pointing, even when holding it barely up from the hip. And yes, worn in glasses form.
