A troll.
2 Kid Stealth cyberlegs.
Quickness enhancement 6. (with base quickness 4 = quickness 10 for movement.)
Retractable Cyberskates.
With cyberskates the running rate is 10 X 7 meters. (70 meters!)
Now give him a grapple gun. This guy would make a mean LoneStar menace.
You steal some paydata and jump into your getaway van. You look in the rear view mirror to see this giant LoneStar freak skate up quickly behind your vehicle as you pull away. He fires his grapple gun and wraps it around your back bumper! He proceeds to reel the line in pulling him closer and closer and closer to your van while you weave through traffic.
Then you break hard. The troll officer reacts by lowering his head with the cyberskull with cyberhorns ... Ramming speed. The horns smash through the rear window. Then he hooks himself on the back with his hook hand. Now you are in some deep drek.
That's when you quickly turn a corner and 'whip' him into a building.
or keep a hacksaw on hand! if he has one hook hand and a grapple gun he cant shoot you
unless he has a cyber gun

I love that image!
Thanks for the laughs!

| Causing severe spinal damage. While he is busy adapting to the first 5 seconds of his life as a quadrapalegic, you back over him, peel out on his face, and think about the cost of fixing the troll shaped dent in the back of your van. [edit]My mistake, he'd still be attached to the back of your van with the grapple. Looks like you'll be dragging a dead/dying troll in a particularly gruesome manner through traffic until he falls off.[/edit] |
On a more or less unrelated note, shouldn't skates have some modifier based on strength? Watching hockey players it appears that (as opposed to strict running) leg strength is comparatively more important than the number of times one's legs move.
(I'd be much obliged if someone with more skating experience could 'elp)
Would a Running Multiplier of x5 + STR make more sense? (or less? or none?)

@Everial: Just because you're strong doesn't mean you skate well, although it helps. Rather it should involve one's Athletics (Skating) skill. For example: I'm not the strongest person I know, but I can skate backwards faster than most can forwards.
hmm, didnt know kid stealth legsand cyberskates where compatible (alltho there is nothing in the books saying they are not)...
