Dumpshock Forums _ Shadowrun _ Social Limit and Essence

Tried searching for this, but failed to find anything. A characters essence is factored into the Social limit. Is the characters essence rounded up, down or according to normal rounding rules?

SR5, p 100

When calculating all Inherent limits, round the result up to the nearest whole number. For Social limits, round up Essence to the nearest whole number prior to calculating the cost.
