Where's BullDreck's report from Origins?
I think everyone who was at Origins is still busy recovering; I know I still am - I haven't even unpacked my books yet. ![]()
SoE should be in most stores within two weeks.
You know, I'm not that impatient to read that I did a complete screw up because I forgot that and this
I already know a Belgian who will probably scream "injustice!" and "unbelieveable!" when he'll see what happened to Belgium...
Well, time to try that bunker I build last winter
I will perish in the flames bravely, grateful of having being involved...
So it will be a pleasure to fire you up
Hey, don't forget to bring the hot-sauce. If we writers are going to be grilled, make sure its a decent BBQ with all the condiments, huh?
I got mine.
Went to Origins but have been so busy lately that i just started reading it this morning.
Still reading the intro.

Nah the intro's by Rob. I'll wait till he hits the pan-European introduction and the history...
Hrm. Captain Chaos always struck me as older.
Am I in time to run away and hide under a rock?
No, too late. We've already got tracking devices implanted in you. Give it two weeks after we've all gotten a copy...
The Abstruse One
You're not really a freelancer yet until your work gets trashed somewhere.
And besides, if anyone has problems with the text, we can always blame Adam's sister for it. ![]()
Damn! I knew I had to run sooner and never show up here again! Still, I'll remember about Adam's sister, when time comes for it.

Ada is your sister's name, Adam?
Sorry, had to make the stupid joke.
According to Shadows of Europe.
You can always try this http://www.f-shop.de/showproduct.swift?TrackID=693&Check=iuPi9O742e95m3hr&CurPos=45&InfoLevel=&Sort=&Group=SRE&Page=2&Prodtype=SR (good luck with the language). Bought it a couple of minutes ago along with Smuggler's havens.

Aside from the fact that it's also not in stock there, I don't know if it's such a good idea to order in Germany as an US resident - higher cost, higher delivery time.
As a current resident of Germany, it's okay. Plus it's the only way to get Target: ADL when it comes out.
Don
I know that. I was just pointing out the fact to the mostly American population of this board.
http://www.fastforwardgames.com indicates that it will be available on July 12. Insofar as Fast Forward Entertainment is the official distributor for FanPro (or something similar if thats not the exact description of their relationship) I imagine it will become available through other venues in the US at around that time.
I think they're the American distributor; don't know who gets it overseas.
Those in Europe could consider F-shop. I do wonder, based on this news, when it will be available over here. Maybe I might get it in 2 weeks, Toa.

July 12? That's more that a Week away and I'll be a year older!
You must age unusually quickly...
Well, while you wait here are a few teasers I've managed to track down on the net:

I like their styles; it's less "cartonish" then some of the other illustrators.....
Oh, and keep Baxa away from SR...I hate his style....and he messed up the "Dark Sun"-setting for AD&D.![]()
Adhoc
WOW! If the rest of the art is close to this good, I think we're looking at the best looking SR book ever.
Thanos
Heh. Those picks are REALLY good. Seen some more, and they sure keep the level.
Happy Birthday Snowy. Hmmm, I wonder what your hubby could get you a s a prezzie?
To those who already have it: did they change the cover font? On srrpg.com it's still the mockup it's been months ago. I only hope they did...
The one on srrpg is the one on the book.
Incorrect; the one on SRRPG.com [currently - I gotta grab the new cover and upload it] is a mockup based on the first mockup, but with the final art.
Okay...the art looked the same, I didn't srcrutiny it, my bad.
Nice pics!

The two art pieces in the upper right corner of the mockup (between 'Shadowrun' and the product ID number) are not original and come from Shadows of North America's cover (the number displayed on the mockup is incidently the one for SoNA, not SoE). They aren't on Shadows of Europe, no ?
Excellent work, I am encouraged about FanPro's commitment to Shadowrun. Good Art work is essential. I agree that previous supplements were too cartoony. This stuff looks great.
Cheers
QM
Ada, the final cover was visible a few hours, but it disappeared, only leaving a line "Shadows of Europe". Normal ? Also, if you find the time you should update the front page, SoE pushing Cannon Companion reprint out of the "latest releases" column.
Don't call me Ada. The final cover is online and working fine. SOE will be put on the front page according to my usual timeframe for doing so - within a few days of the ship to stores date, which was the 12th.
One related question, Adam: why did the SoE wallpapers disappear some weeks ago?
Bug or something else?
thx in advance for the clue.
Hrm. I had no idea that they had - I wish people would email me about this sort of thing.
I must have shuffled some files around incorrectly during the Great Laptop Explosion of 2003/2004, and uploaded an older file at some point. I'll put them back up tonight.
For those out of the loop, The Great Laptop Explosion of 2003/04 is a little cited reference as a predecessor to the Crach of '29. ![]()
Anyhow, back to our scheduled topic - any of you guys got your copies yet?

Mike! I've been meaning to e-mail you, your maps are bloody beautiful!
The Shadows of Europe wallpaper is back online.
Does anybody know approx how many copies are printed of SoE and how many countries it gets shipped to?
I know it is available at Leisure games and from F-Shop. Aside from that, I'm not sure which countries, although I'd bet it's already available in France.
