Dumpshock Forums _ Shadowrun _ Officially writing Shadowrun fiction

Posted by: The Vanguard Jul 21 2004, 04:20 AM

Hi I would like to write officially Shadowrun fiction, since I'm big fan of Shadowrun world and RPG.

There is no question to your thread, nor is there a topic for discussion. Please correct this.

Not that there's much to discuss. FanPro ain't publishing, and with Duels on hiatus or dead WizKids isn't likely to either.

Be fair. At least tell the newbie to go do a search of the forums. I think they might still be accepting material for the website.

I missed the fact that official fiction doesn't necessarily mean novels. Sleeptime for me, I think.

Go for it! I suggest contacting Fanpro first, to see if you can maybe get published. If you want to write fanfic, and it's good, I wouldn't mind hosting it for you.

This is covered in the first section of the http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/resources/faq.shtml.

Questions covered in two past threads on DSF [http://invision.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=3865] [http://invision.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=4720]. Wizkids may not be a very good horse to bet on, it's all but sure there will ever publish a SR novel.
