This is like, pre-alpha-whateverthehell..
I'm looking for ideas on how to make it better.
Please note: It is running on a really bad server, so if it runs slow, that's just the way things are.
Anyway, the app is a little script for writing a gamelog. It allows the admin to log in and put in entries and update character profiles, and allows characters to log in and post comments to the game entries.

Guest account is unable to post comments, but you can review them and get the idea for how posting would work..
After you log in, go to Campaigns -> Dead of Night (the current SR game I'm running), wait for the cast of characters to appear.
Then pick Game Log -> and double click on any entry in there, or use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the page.
If I get this script smoothed out, and if there is an interest in it, I would be willing to make it publically available..
Looks pretty nice, so far. I can see a GM wanting to separate in-character from out-of-character entries though, so splitting up the "Game Log" item into two menus along those lines might be useful. Then the player posts could be automatically in-character on the IC items (with a drop-down list of characters to select from if the player has more than one). You could also make it so that the GM has a drop-down with all the players and characters on it so they can post as anyone (for posting as NPCs or in case a player drops out or is unavailable).
Another improvement would be the ability to import the XML from the NSRCG for the characters. Of course viewing a character's stats would only be available to the player running the character and the GM. Also, the GM should be able to take a character away from a player so they can no longer post as them or view their stats (for use if the character gets posessed or otherwise turned into a NPC).
Good suggestions, I'll look into putting them in.
