I've been directing the people I know from off-site to Dumpshock in wind-up towards a Shadowrun 4th game, but it keeps telling them a moderator needs to review and add permissions on their account.

What's the dealio with this? Also, someone AIM'd me about my game, but is unable to post on that thread advertising it, because his account (VivianDQ) has yet to be allowed, but he signed up on the 30th of May.

If it's a question of vouching, I'll vouch for ElectronicSheep and VivianDQ as being real people and not spammers or spambots.

To stop the Spambots, Adam set it to require manual approval for new accounts. It does slow things down. I'll direct his attention this way and see about getting those moved along.

It looks like neither of them read and followed the instructions under the big "READ THIS" header that appears on the site after you register, and thus, their accounts were not approved.

I'll approve them now.

I registered in the days before that. Could someone drop me a link to the "READ THIS" info, so I can bap my idiotia friends over the head with it and call them baka?
