When I click the link for my controls or on my name all I get is a blank white screen.

Mark upgraded some stuff on the server tonight; I'll try and make sure he takes a look at the problem areas tomorrow.

you're just not getting the zen of it, man. once you understand that underneath the skin, we're all our own control panels, you won't need to click on the link anymore.

I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue, but I guess it's worth mentioning -- I get the same featureless, textless, blank white screen when I click on someone else's name, too.

The whole thing is odd. I can use the "messages" link to see my control panel, and the Terms page is working for me, but the "my controls", clicking on mine or another user's name, and the Guidelines link all give me the WSOD.

I'm assuming this issue is also related to the apparent lack of an ability for new users to join the forums? My girlfriend's been trying all weekend to make an account so she can take part in one of the Welcome to the Shadows game with no luck (no confirmation emails have arrived).

I was even considering giving her one of my older names I used to use here, but changing the password and all that fun stuff is right out the window, too, due to the lack of My Controls.

No that's unrelated. We were getting bombarded with Spambots, so the approval process was changed. Have her email dumpshockforums@gmail.com to get it pushed through.

I think Adam is referring to the new user registration being processed, not the My Controls being fixed.

We have a software upgrade scheduled before Gen Con that should fix a LOT of the nagging problems we've been having ... and add a bunch of new ones, surely.

Heh. I subscribed to a topic the other day, forgetting that I had the "email me" option turned on. I basically accomplished sending myself a metric crap ton of requested spam. Awesome.
