I'm posting this for someone else because he can't login.

The "I've Forgotten My Password" button doesn't send an email with the new, updated password.

Yes I was able to figure out a way to post.

The "I have forgotten my password" function never sends a email with a temp/changes password.

Please try again. I just validated this function with my test account and it worked perfectly.

Please check your spam filters and the like. This feature is not broken. I received both emails in seconds when I tested earlier tonight.

Nothing in spam filters.

Try this from your Redjack account Redjack. A test account is new, yours and mine are old accounts. Old may be the difference.

Can you see if any emails have been sent out to my email addy?

At your request, I have tested using my account "Redjack". The test was successful and both emails were received in seconds. There is no trap on the email send function for me to watch or trap emails that are sent.

Just requested another forgot my password request, again no email, not with in minutes.

Again can you tell from the forum side an email was even sent out?

Again, no. The board system does not log emails sent, it does log all failures to send email however. There are no failures for you account. The failure log is working though because a few spammers have attempted to reset passwords on invalid accounts.

The system is properly sending and receiving emails on old and new accounts. I did send you an email from the Control Panel as another test though.

The only significant difference in the two emails is the from address. You appear to not receiving emails from: forums-noreply@dumpshock.com

OK I went into my blocked list of email addys, then unblocked everyone of them, it gave me a long listing of all those addresses, when I did a keyword search I found that forums-noreply@dumpshock.com was in the blocked list. Being in my blocked list it was automatically deleted, it never went into my spam folder or trash folder.*scratches his bald head on how it got there in the first place.*
