I noticed that some of the admins have really absurd post counts. I am just pointing it out. Weird.
Not all of us.
Yeah, mine would be higher if I didn't take frequent extended breaks from DS.
Redjack, Ediolon, we can change that for ya ![]()
Nahh, seriously, I've always held post counts in contempt since they don't reflect anything the least bit useful. I've seen plenty of people who's every post was golden, but they only post when they have something very useful to add, so their count is really low, and I've seen plenty of chatterboxes who rack up 1000 posts in a month because they don't say anything useful but reply to every topic. We disabled the post count ages ago because of people who were actively post counting and inflating their post counts, and I lobbied against leaving it visible when we set up the latest board software.
<shrug>
So I settled for making my PC ridiculous (pretty much, I just added 1,000,000 posts to it). Caine decided to outdo me, so he went with 2,000,000. Paolo... I have no idea why his is so screwy. ![]()
And now you know...
Since you hold post counts with such disdain, would you be willing to add a few hundred thousand to mine? : ) : )
I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this conversation.
*assumes defensive posture to shield his tiny post count*
Bastard! ![]()
Don't do that, though. I don't use it as a gauge of anything other than how often I think something is worth putting on here, but it's nice to have that much.
Some of us have to do something since we can't all hack the backend of the server to give ourselves cute little join dates or member numbers like other folks.
Then there is the mutiny aspect of changing that... Think I'll leave well enough alone.
We do?
Why do we do that?
Who is that anyway?
Also:
I don't care about post count either, and i seem to be more of a chatterbox than a usefull poster most of the time.
Make the Post Count hidden again, but levae the Title visible ^^
Oh, okay O.o
