It looks like something happened to the clock on the server. I got an error when logged in on my normal account, Ecclesiastes, that I had to wait 30 seconds to post, even though it had been several minutes. When I logged out and logged back in on my old account, I noticed that the clock was reading 3 hours slow. I'm guessing the only reason I can post with this account is because I haven't posted at all today with it, so the clock isn't effecting me.
Viewing the list of logged on users, here is where I see the break:
lodestar Viewing Forum: Shadowrun Sep 10 2004, 04:02 PM
Grey Viewing Online List Sep 10 2004, 02:33 PM
I should be listed at the top of the list (as usual when checking out the list), but for whatever reason, I'm 3 pages back.
Yep, you're absolutely right. I was in the process of fixing it when you posted this. Thanks for the note, it should be corrected now.
For the curious: The hardware clock was screwy and when the server got rebooted things went haywire -- the forums didn't like their ride on the time machine apparently.
This shouldn't happen again.
While you're dealing with the clock--did the profiles lose all their time zone preferences or is everyone just getting GMT-0500 until the forums go back to their permanent servers?
Mine are fine, never left Pacific Time Zone.

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
The error returned was:
Flood control is enabled on this board, please wait 30 seconds before replying or posting a new topic
here it is again, when I was attempting to post in a thread.
Are you sure it wasn't just 30 seconds or less since you'd posted?

I'm sure...I hadn't posted in awhile.
