Thanks, figured most of this out, even figured out where the dracoform attribute bonuses were hiding.
Do those bonuses add to current stats increasing ones maximum as well as augmented max? How about a troll/western would it be larger and have +2 reach or +1? Playing with the sheet it looks like 2. |

It definitely gets a +2 reach. And ends up with pretty stats. I think there was another topic somewhere that said the changes carry over, because not only are you a western drake, but a troll western drake. So, yeah.

Do those bonuses add to current stats increasing ones maximum as well as augmented max? Drakes get a bonus that is not an augmentation, but does exceed racial maximums. Think of it as being the same as a human "shapeshifting" into a troll: current, maximum, and augmented all rise. |

setting the sheet to troll/western it doesn't look like the augmented max increases. The base numbers are 5/10 9[9] 5/15. I'm guessing that the augmented for draco form is just not showing, as you would need a 4th column for that.

If the character has any kind of augmentations, like from bodyware cyberware, bioware, or adept powers, the augmented physical attributes show up in the braces. Thus a troll/western Adept with the Improved Attribute (Body) power at level one would have a Body of 9 [10] in the dracoform column (which is what you would use while actually in your dracoform).

Small typos in the background tab:
out (question 1, word 5) should be our. hight (question 1, sentence 2, word 5) should be height. likley (question 4, sentence 2, word 2) should be likely. |

Have some Qualities been left out for some reason? Because I can't find Trust Fund (Runner's Companion, p101) anywhere.

Try selecting a SINner negative quality first. It is a requirement of the quality.

Thanks, didn't think of that. Thought it'd just highlight Trust Fund as an error til you took the SINner quality.

Rumor has it that Hero Builder is adding support for Shadowrun 4th edition. If anybody gets a chance to try it out, please post your thoughts. Maybe they will have a full featured program and we wont need this bulky spreadsheet anymore!
Hello chaps! Just started using this sheet for a new campaign, so thanks for a great resource! Maybe I’m just missing something, but here is quick query; When building a free spirit character, how do you make the spirit powers appear on the character sheet? I see it’ll work if you select Adept or Mystic Adept from the “special” drop down box on the main sheet, but is there a more legitimate way of doing so? Thanks again! When you select 'Free Spirit' for race and 'None' for Special, you should be able to select free spirit powers from the Magic Page. |

They have stated the first incarnation will only have the sr4a book, and the other books will be added over time.

It will most likely take at least a year, possibly even more, before Hero builder is in an usable condition. The initial release only includes the core book, IIRC. |

I just noticed the link to my sample character archive redux on the Settings page. I'm honored.
I do intend to get back to that project, by the way; my personal life has been... interesting of late. [Edit:] Sangrey Acero should be Sangre y Acero (Blood and Steel). |

Found an error in the naga stats. Its reaction in your sheet is listed as 1/5, but in RC pg 84 it lists the range for a naga's reaction attribute as 2/7.

[Edit:] Sangrey Acero should be Sangre y Acero (Blood and Steel). Ideally I wanted to change the mobile sheet to match a format used for character posting in forums. Seems redundant to have to retype your char information into a post after having it in a spreadsheet. Your thread is great. Making characters is what the sheet is all about. Also, updated Sangre y Acero, thanks for the edit. Found an error in the naga stats. Its reaction in your sheet is listed as 1/5, but in RC pg 84 it lists the range for a naga's reaction attribute as 2/7. Good catch. Fixed in upcoming version n. |

I've been building characters as a hobby for years, all the way back to AD&D as a kid. Your sheet has made my hobby much easier and more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. |

Hoorj, more bug reports for version 1M. Mostly missing prices and a handful of spelling errors.
I think I'll call it quits for the night on the bug-hunting. So freaking tedious, but worth it in the long run. |

Well, I just used this program to make the Mark I character for a game that will hopefully happen. I use OpenOffice.org Office Suite, and have had few, if any troubles. Aside from having no idea how to print out an actual sheet rather than a whole podge of everything. ('Coruse, I don't use that part of the suite that often, so it might be something simple.).
Much thanks to the creators and updaters and all the other folks involved in this project! |

I'll just put it into a paper character sheet.
