Looking at Military-Grade Armor Enhancements (p50 Arsenal) but cant seem to see how much they cost or how much space they take up. Some of them are the same as cyperware, but only the integrated weapon stat they are "at the same Capacity and nuyen costs." Have I missed something?

Also is there a max on Strength Upgrade for the suits? as it stats "The usual rules for the maximum augmented attribute (see AttributeRatings, p. 62, SR4) do not apply to this enhancement, since the increment is due to fully external mechanics and the sheer mass of the armor." (p51 Arsenal)

The table says that the Strength Upgrade is available in Ratings 1-3. The entire Strength thus is maxed at Augmented Maximum+3

Yeah, well, I figured that would become evident when the location was pointed out.

But, having worked tech support, I should know better than to figure on the literacy and willingness to read and do research of others.

See, I've loaned out most of my books to my new players, so I'm often away from book. I also don't own all the books yet, I'm fuzzy on many of the supplements due to limited face time on the books of friends.

And that's why I like the PDFs, especially the official ones, as you can do word searches with them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yeh i guessed the max rating was 3 (well i say guessed, the book told me) but I do hate it when charts go walkies (though I should of remembered Arsenal has mass index at back). I also have worked in tec support and the phrase "have you plugged it in" was used far to often.

You know, CanRay, there are times that a sarcastic response is good. There also times when it is bad... and this is one of those.

Sometimes people need a little nudge in the right direction. You should have given the nudge and moved on.

I was wondering why I had no trouble finding those costs, while being reasonably sure, that I did not check the tables in the back.

The reason: The digital copy has been updated and the table with all costs was added to p. 51. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

P.S. @KCK: I really don't think CanRay was addressing stu_pie there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah, but I still can't bring my self to buy PDFs without a dead tree too. Maybe I'm just old school, but the books are so much better. The PDF's handy sometimes, but even they aren't everywhere, and I don't like paying for pdfs, it feels wrong.

Edited for minor grammar failure.

Nope. I was talking about the ID10T Errors that I used to have to deal with back in The Day, which put me in my corner that smells of stale fear, as I rock back and forth in it gibbering madly.

No, if I were insulting a person on DS, I would do so by name, and there'd be no question who I was referring to. I might also use Weapons-Grade Language and get arrested for War Crimes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

I also prefer having the hardcover books, and have all of them plus the PDFs of the core rulebooks (those PDFs have a really fair price tag).

The PDFs have been used a lot, since I bought them. Very handy to have around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Search function alone for OCR Sourcebooks alone make it worth the price quite often!

OCR, "Born Digital", either way, my find command makes searching for something take seconds. Well, a minute considering my Eee PC is really, really slow.

Much love to searchable PDFs.
I dunno how old your netbook is, but my Eee PC finds things pretty quickly. I do use foxit reader, though. (Lightweight PDF reader)

I love Skim. It may be Mac-only. It's incredible. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Excellent annotation support.
