It better be if it's going to carry that Body 12 troll around.

True...
Pretty sure the recoil while flying is going to push that Sparrow back all over the flight path... Or at least it should... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

When using the 'Drone Body as RC' rule, would it be utter munchkinry to add the troll's Body as well? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif)

Since I am pretty sure the Sparrow does not have a 12 Body, you cannot mount the weapons on the vehicle (They require a reinforced mount for each one, which takes 6 body each). The Troll MUST be the one wielding them. He aint got enough Body and Strength to do both of them, most likely.

The Sparrow is awful big though...

QUOTE (Arsenal, page 112)
Basically a human-sized frame with two vector thrust engines mounted...

I didn't know "human-sized" was awful big.

EDIT: Also, the Sparrow can fit one weapon mount. Not with mechanical arms (of which it can only take 2 full arms, or 4 grapple arms...), but still.

For those that believe that man is naturally limited to controlling two limbs:

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/...10220142809.htm

QUOTE
But what we found, surprisingly, is that the brain solves this conflict by accepting both right hands as part of the body image, and the subjects experience having an extra third arm."

The important point is that humans (today) can control a third arm naturally: which wasn't what the scientists expected.

In answer to original question:
It's either as cheesy as hell, or as cool as Doctor Octopus. See what the GM thinks about the whole character idea.

In comparison to the Image of the DNI Controlled Robotic Arms of Doc Oc, the Sparrow is absolutely huge. A Metahuman FITS INSIDE of it. Compared to a torso wrap and DNI Interface. They are worlds apart at that point. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, but Doc Oc can't fly. I think "awful big" (which is still an overstatement - a human can fit "inside" framed backpack but you wouldn't call that HUGE) is a fair tradeoff for extra arms and the ability to fly.

You haven't played Global Agenda yet, have you?

It's an actual third arm (and all it does is repair stuff, which it can only do if its your active weapon, and you're holding Fire/Alt-fire)

That was actually something I had pondered for a long while doing with my TM. A backpack mounted arm like that skin linked to the wearer.

Errr did you read your own article? There was no control there, only a reaction test to see if your mind would treat the pseudo prostetic as a real arm for reaction to stimuli pruposes. Both arms laid flat on the table throughout the experiment, ithere's nothign about control there. All they did was do the water glass illusion with a fake hand.

I'm fine with a couple extra arms, but it should be hard to use (requiring significant investment), etc.

So. You insulted my Google Fu by putting the exact search I made into LMGTFY.

Results:

Magic Snow
An illusion of cup volume (unsure how it may have been accomplished, off hand) that is not related to the third arm illusion
Same video, but this time with a spanish ad for tide up front
A prank tutorial unrelated to the above video
Glass tiles
Worl-Mysteries.com does illusions.
ARTIFICIAL PINK DAISY GLASS VASE
Rare Vintage Illusion Glass Water Ball Ornaments

Care to...uh. Find me something relevant!?

My bad wording, my point was that the study presented nothing like what Seth suggested it did, suggesting to me he either didn't read the article.
