One of my players has an immunity to Neuro-Stun and a collection of gas delivery systems. High & Low powered DoTA foes all drop at about the same rate when facing off against him.

How does that even happen?

A favorite tactic, to be sure. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Natural immunity 15pnts from the core rules. Good for ignoring a single dose. Had some questionable moments concerning concentrations in an enclosed space.

Why not just get the treatment. Total Immunity for the win. And less cost in BP than the Quality.

My question is: When did immortal elves suddenly become an accepted part of the game world rather than a nutty conspiracy theory? They've got snopes acting as though he's believing in them.

When Frosty showed up?

Honestly, it's still a very small group of non-believeable people that know. I mean, if Kane or Plan 9 starts spouting off about "Elves from the Fourth World running secret societies!" while in handcuffs, the cops are just going to think they're working on an insanity plea.

...

Well, Kane doesn't really need to work on his. Guy is scarier than The Joker, to be honest. He's got a bigger budget.

Has it ever been stated that she knows she's potentially immortal? I could see Harlie withholding that from her.

I could see him going either way with it, really. Very mercurial character, him.

Hell, he might have told that she is immortal and isn't immortal in the same conversation, and been completely honest all the time.

I think he was. In Harlequin's Back ( I think? ) it was stated she didn't know Ehran was her daddy.

Yeah, in one of the DOTAs it says she doesn't know her daddy, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what she is.

Going to be difficult when someone asks her, "Who is your Daddy, and what does he do?"

Then again, Harley might be Daddy some nights. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The concept of Harlequin and Frosty hooking up is kinda sick when you consider my personal theory, based on nothing but their relationship, that Harlequin and Ehran are brothers. To hate each other that much takes a familial bond, in my experience.

My opinion only, now; don't go quoting me as an authority on the subject since I'm not. But think about it and tell me you can't at least see it, whether you agree with the idea or not.

Or both.

...

What? Don't look at me that way, they grew up in a massively different culture that any of us did, that might be considered natural and wonderful to them. Not like you have to worry about inbreeding or other such woes, which the royal families had to not so long ago historically.

According to the Earthdawn book "Bloodwood" they aren't even from the same continent. Harli is fro Seriatha and Erin is from the Bloodwood. Can't give exact page numbers right now.

According to The Blood Wood, an elf named Caimbueul is Sereatha's ambassador to the Elven Court (page 63). It worth nothing that Queen Alachia and Blood Warder Aithne Oakforest also comes from Sereatha before moving to the Blood Wood (pages 40 et 53). I wasn't able to find a reference to Ehran in the book. Unless I'm missed something (which I do not rule out), out of three immortal elves in the Blood Wood, three came from Sereatha.

Even if Ehran is born in the Blood Wood, considering elves lifespan, Harlequin and Ehran could still be born from the same parents ten or twenty years apart, after they moved from Sereatha to the Blood Wood. Or they could simply be cousins. Cousins can be as close as brothers, especially since elves give birth to fewer children than other metatypes.

Also, the Harlequin adventure page 137 says Harlequin and Ehran had the same teacher in swordfighting. The short story at the beginning of Dawn of the Artifacts: Dusk also suggests it.
