Why do you even need 10 magazines? Are you going to war or something?

3 Regular, 3 Gel, 2 EX-Ex, 2 APDS, 2 Stick-n-Shock... That's 12.

Generally, I get ammo for my characters in amounts well exceeding what they can load into their clips - need to keep ammo around to refill after the job, after all.

And getting more Ammo is always a good way to not waste any money you get at Character Creation.

I found plastic ties to be a sound investment. You can never have too many plastic ties. They're cheap too. 10 for a nuyen. What do you mean, "Why do you have 1,500 wire ties on your character sheet?" BECAUSE. They work!

Harkness is know for sticking his d*ck in anything with a hole in it.* Ex-lovers come back to kill him is a reocurring theme.
*Except this one alien chick who fed off "orgasmic energy." I'm not making that up.

And very well you shouldn't.

I have only just seen this quote and now I want the story.
It came from a very old thread on the possibility for shapeshifter to breed with metahumans. As you might expect, it quickly degenerated into dozens of flaming posts, culminating in this surreal line that complet... almost made sense in context of magical shapechange innate ability. But I have been unable to retrieve the topic (it was before 2007 I think, based on my use as a signature, but I cannot be more precise).

Actually, I do ten mags worth for each ammo type I have for each gun. I like being prepared. Part of the mentality is that clips ejected on a run are not salvaged, so I need replacements. The other side is not having to reload a clip in the middle of a run. Of course, it all is just really just a thinly veiled cover for my ocd, and my inability to use resources effectively during character creation.

The "New York Reload" is a legitimate option. As is the "Border Shift" technique of carrying two pistols.

For reference, Underground has things like 80mm handguns, strength scores rated up to "bench press blue whales", and legalized cannabalism.

Now you know why I liked the gun that reloaded itself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif)
The Raust 'Room Cleaner"
(The ambiguous numbers were game system specific details that don't translate to SR; also it's damage--2d10*2--is insane)

No because if he was talking about Texas he'd have mentioned the feral children and that half the state is overrun by marauding boars.

What the hell is going on in this thread? Pansexuals? Cannibals? Did I really misread the preview that badly? Anyway, just checking on the chaos. Carry on.

I was pulling guard out in the Negave Desert, and my buddy saw it and was wondering what it was. I thought it was a trashbag and he swore had seen it checking us out. I ended up throwing a rock at it and then the thing made this sound like rattlesnakes fighting hornets and came barreling at us. We ended up having to climb onto the guardshack because it didn't have a door.
