Does everyone in the vehicle have their masks or armor on before i open the door? Does it look like the locals are going to fight the creatures or run away?

Does it look like the locals are going to fight the creatures or run away? shots fired, they are moving to firing positions as far as I recall everyone is gas masked, apart from Nova, can you search and check ? I'm happy to say that if you exit quickly and shut the door, occupants should be unaffected, after some one rolled some chemistry etc. |

shots fired, they are moving to firing positions as far as I recall everyone is gas masked, apart from Nova, can you search and check ? I'm happy to say that if you exit quickly and shut the door, occupants should be unaffected, after some one rolled some chemistry etc. I know cripsy and sanchez have masks and Nova put an IC of putting her armor on. I will lock her helmet on if its not on already before i open the door though if that will help. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) currently though they are just content to munch on crops, but the locals are about to start barraging them with shotguns, they cannot hear you from here (Distance, vehicle soundproofing, wearing a mask, gunshot noise ... etc, etc,) |

not starting just yet, but giving the others a chance to catch up and post pre-combat stuff. I'll have a map on DropBox this evening, already finished it, just need to upload and place counters. at approx 20:00 GMT I'll post some IC .. if I can get past the boss, she has ideas about us moving house etc. I need to look at prospective stuff, otherwise, god only knows what we'll end up living in ! Wired Reflexes Operating Mode: Wireless disabled; DNI only All gear has RFID tags physically removed. Admin access required for all devices. All other levels disabled. Signal transmission power for all gear automatically scales down to minimum distance based on proximity. All signals are encrypted. edit: I think this is right... Sanchez is paranoid and from the reading I've done I think this is how he would have his stuff setup and handled. |

Have you been having a Rules set "Blonde" moment ? we are playing 4th Edition pal, that whole Hacking of Wired reflexes etc. is NOT gonna happen in my game. |

OK COMBAT MAP IS UP
Your Hummer, and you are in J4 the Cliff face is about 5 metres high from here, giving them concealment and cover, Though Sanchez has taken the high ground on top of the hummer and can pretty much see the beasties (they still have partial cover from the crops etc. The yellow is the beach the blue is the sea the green is crops and is at least head height of the tallest person the grey are abandoned buildings the Black is the wall and the checkpoint, the Cogs are explosives and are for ILLUSTRATION ONLY ... you cannot metagame a safe path between them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) as usual the Scale is utterly wrong but .. meh .. who cares, let's kill some bugs. There is still time for the others (NOVA & CRISPY) to sneak in preliminary actions, and get out ready for this or do something entirely crazy, like stay in the truck! any questions? Oh .. RANGE = TEN METRES PER SQUARE |

As for preliminary actions... Nova will call her Fire Spirit to her side (it will stay in astral space). She will also fly upwards, so she cannot get attacked in melee combat by the critters.
