as noted in the other thread: i'll believe there's interest on CGL's part when i see the errata. i fully believe the freelancers want to see errata, better proofreading, and proper editing, because they were already not just volunteering to perform this service for free, but actually had already done it for free and handed it off to CGL for several previous books, and for the most part nothing came of it.

so until further notice, the only thing i'm going to believe is that CGL wants me to believe that they want to provide errata. anything more i'll have to see it to believe it. they haven't earned enough trust for me to take them at their word.

Catalyst is just too stupid to do it properly it seems.
Remember when they released PDF previews for new products that we, here, took apart and found dozends of mistakes in?
And did it help to make the final product better? Noo . . because Catalyst had opted to not do that and wait for feedback but to send out the files the previews were based on to the printers and then send out the previews. Because no, of course we can't make use of basically free crowd sourced errata . .

Speaking of, I just got an email for this new adventure/novel and the email contained two typos that spellspecker should have caught.
"konws" and "megacorp]"
Makes me cry inside.

And "do" isn't in its known words list, just to make things worse.
