With no agenda (except maybe a picture of her wearing her belly button ring (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif) ) I thought I would start this up. Join in if you have questions for her (keep it clean) and maybe we can get her participation on this too!

Was NetCat a real runner you played as in a SR game, or was she created FOR the fluff?

I can say that NetCat was originally created before Jennifer started writing with us. (NetCat was one of the original Jackpointers for SR4.) Some of the events that happened with NetCat came from discussions that Jennifer had with Phaedra, Bobby, myself, and others. We all talk behind the scenes with each other about the Jackpointers lives beyond the articles. Sometimes this comes out in short fiction, other times it's the shadowtalk that slowly builds up.

Just want to comment, when I spoke with her at Gencon last year (and got her to autograph my sr4a) I mentioned dumpshock. She did not sound like she hardly ever got on the forums here. Not saying its futile... maybe I am wrong. Without Goading from her associates, will she notice this post?

While I'm all for a fan club for the writers, please, leave piercings out of it. It was funny, and she brought it up, but it's innapropriate for Dumpshock, as it isn't related to Shadowrun besides being literally connected to one of the writers.

Play nice, don't forget to pet the drop bears. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Let's see...

Unwired - Matrix Overview
Runner's Companion - Advanced Lifestyles (with Adam Large), Life on the Run (and contributed to Qualities and Survival Tips)
Running Wild - Advanced Critter Rules (with McQ) & Walk on the Wild Side
Corporate Enclaves - LA & Nairobi
Feral Cities - Lagos & GeMiTo
Ghost Cartels - Some of 1st chapter, all of final chapter, plus free fiction posted on SR4.com
Dawn of the Artifacts 1 (Dusk) & 2 (Midnight), plus development on #3 & #4, and developing/writing followup campaign
Seattle 2072 (Fiction)
SR4A (Fiction)
10 Gangs - 2 gangs
Vice - Gangs, 3 ethnic syndicates, The Opposition

Yes, that is every book that has come out in recent years.

And several products yet to be released, such as Sixth World Almanac, Corp Guide, etc, etc.

Which is why this here is basically the official shadowrun board . .
Because most of the people who are or were officially affiliated with SHADOWRUN visit.
Like Mrs. Harding here, who can traumatize even Ancient History it seems ^^
I still have not managed to get him to tell me about that one though *snickers*

Oh, sure. It's amusing. Personally, I'd join up with a Bobby Derie/Ancient History fan club in a heartbeat... (dunno if Bobby would do the reverse, but then again, we've had far to many conversations that ended with him running away screaming (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

I think all of the authors I know appreciate it when their work is admired, and since I know that all of the core freelancers (aka "old timers") write (or wrote) because they themselves are SR fans, we all like this stuff.

I liked lagos so much, I dropped the PC's there after a botched run (Literallly, the troll threw em out of the plane--with a parachute b/c I'm nice).

Thanks to some of the info (Jaukefer (Sp?) swarms anyone?), I am left with the distinct impression they don't want to go back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
