Awesome beaches, food, and women?

Two out of three. I'm not much for beaches, especially when they have box jellyfish, coral to cut your feet on, sharks... plus all the previously mentioned insects.
The answer is clear. Import the food and women. Primarily the women.

It's good training for the apocalypse?

Okay, I'll buy that.

Well... I wasn't aware Australia was so fucked up in 2070. Lets hope I die before then, or I may have to move before I get eaten!

Honestly, <3 Aus tho, would never move.

Edit: speeeling

I'm getting out of here before Conroy turns the place into his very own miniature China, or Abbot makes his Catholic autocracy.

Just keep assuring yourself that your nation doesn't look nearly as much like a penis as Sweden (especially during the period when Sweden held both Scania and Finland)

Yes. I wish my penis was 1000 miles long.

Even Awakened Parazoologists would probably need a couple of body guards hanging around just to make the recording process less than a guaranteed suicide mission. And that sounds like a run to me.

Thanks for that idea, I've been toying with some ideas after getting Running Wild, and now I got another one to play with. Gonna run a game with my local group in about a month.

And cheers to those posting good terse info about Australia.

Let me know how that turns out. It'll be a long time before my next campaign starts and I get to use that idea myself.

It's a new game for all in the group, so I think I'll start with some small tidbits run-of-the-mill running in Seattle. Then I already had plans for some rural adventure, and the idea of them going into the wilds as the protector of an overly curious scientist sounds like fun. Maybe even leads to Chicago, who knows. :)

Edit: Australia is interesting and sounds dangerous. I'd like to take them around and not just stay local. But for me all info is good, I need to fill up my brain with Shadowrun info so I can answer stuff they ask.
