I dunno if your long answer isn't any longer than the short answer, unless you are claiming to have a tongue like a snake.

See how the heretic mocks you, blatantly flaunting the lies that roll off his forked tongue.

On second thought, we could just drop fist and tisoz, and the last to hit the ground properly would be the heretic.

Any seconds to the motion?

Ooooo give them the drop test. Good idea. I'll second it. :wobble:

DocMortand:

Define "...hit the ground properly...".

That is, head-first (LAWN DART!), feet-first (standing up), or in some other fashion.

Otherwise, I'd suggest making the winner "...the one who hits the ground and lives to tell about it...", or "... the one who hits the ground and survives with the least number of injuries...", or something of the sort.

Just putting in my :nuyen: 0.02, mind you.

As always, YMMV.

Wouldn't the winner be the one who didn't hit the ground at all but instead landed on some innocent bystander and sucked the life out of them?

That's more the style I had in mind.

Okay, here we go!

*picks up fistandantilus3.0 and tisoz, carries them to the top of the Sears Tower, and flings them both bodily off into space and watches them fall.*

Okay you two - how you land is important....

*Right before the release of the two from the tower, dozens of buses pull up near the Sears Tower and a number of people are unloaded who mill about aimlessly on the sidewalks and streets around the tower. A drop bear operative is there yelling on his megaphone that the free beer will be given out shortly and to be patient.*

There, tisoz and fistandantilus3.0 can't complain that there isn't enough targets for them to hit...

Bah, where's the fun in that? Part of the challenge is to see if they managed to find something to hit...

*quickly shoos away the random pedestrians into the local park, where they are pounced on by a lurking legion of drop bears*

Not the anti-bear!! I've heard about these secret, anti-bear ceremonies where they jump UP from the ground and don't come back down, and where they eat the holy leaf drenched in WINE! Oh, the heresy.

How long does it take for a suspected heretic to hit the ground? They must be going through some Dread Drop Bear of Death ariel maneuvers on the way down. Send video, it's a little hard to see from here.

Hey Socks,
If we take two heretics of different masses and drop them from the same height which would hit first?
And would they bounce?

Heretic #1 75Kg
Heretic #2 55Kg

Depends on their relative shapes and surface area as well as mass.

Though ultimately it is their faith that will determine their fate.

The heretic #1 would hit first as that one is farther away from the weight of a drop bear, and therefore has less experience at short flight target acquisition. Unless heretic #1 got that way from drinking Drop Beer, but then they wouldn’t be a heretic.

Heretics bounce. True Drop Bear members never hit the ground. They kill crush maim and destroy their victim then climb the tree again to wait for another.

Well in my eyes this clears Fisty on the charges of being a heretic. A true believer will always channel the spririt of the indomitable Drop Bear spirit guide.
