Fortuna Manor - First Floor

1) Entrance Way- The main entrance to Cassa de Forntuna is a bit of an over done affair. The floor is tiled with a mosaic depicting the seal of the Tir. A chandelier, a light with dozens of luminescenet bulbs and set off with crystal illuminates the area. The entrance hall it’s self measures almost 7 meters wide, and about 10 deep. It seems arranged as an opulent greeting area, although what guests come out to this fortress in the Salish is any one’s guess. There are a number of small statues on pedestals. One is a bust of Lugh Surehand. Another is a small winged figure approximately two feet tall, but sitting. Each has a name plaque beneath it. The winged figure is called “Airling”.

The main entrance way leads to a main hallway, and also to a room on each side.

2) Sitting Room to the right of the Entry way is what appears to be a receiving room/library. This room sees to be arranged for receiving and sitting guests. There are book lining the shelves, although examination of them shows that they are all science fiction, and fantasy books. The most prominent are the series of books by an author named “L. Ron Hubbard”, and a series of books by a “Robert Jordan”, which seems to be one book short of a complete series.

The accommodations in the large sitting room are all of fine quality. The furniture is arranged to focus the conversation in one area. There is a small humidor holding a collection of fine cigars. Also in this room is what looks like a small bust of Ehran the Scribe.

GM Note: Fortuna, being a big Adam West fan, has placed a “secret” button within the Ehran bust. However, careful examination will show hinges, and messing with it will usually knock the head back. The button opens one of the book selves, which slides back, revealing a firemen’s pole.

2a) Down the pole, there is a small “cave:, man made with faux granite. Inside the small cave area (10’x10’) is a bank of display screens showing rooms throughout the house. Fortuna is a bit of a voyeur apparently, as cameras are also in bathrooms. There are none in his room however. There is also a small fridge well stocked with soda and celery sticks. There is also a dedicated matrix line, hard wired and not wireless. It does not connect to the house security. The sole way back out is a metal rung ladder that goes back up the pole shaft.
Fortuna’s “screen saver” is a group of Furrys in a scritching pile.

3)Dining Area – A long dining room, complete with hard wood floors and an elongated table, the dining room sees infrequent use. In fact it has never been used except by Fortuna him self, and that infrequently. There are paintings along the walls of each of the Tir Princes, all by a skilled artist, Fortuna him self. Each of the paintings bears his signature, and also has him somewhere discretely in the back ground.

4) The Kitchen – Connect to the dining room, this is where Fortuna’s servants would be. In fact, since he always orders take out, there is only a collection of empty take out boxes. Pizza boxes, a large bag of dog food, a bag of charcoal for the hell hounds, and of course, the requisite cleaver.

5)Billiard Room – On the East side of the entrance way is the billiard room. There is an actual pool table, and dart board, as well as a few gaming tables. Left out on one of the tables is a antiqued looking box for a game titled “Gamma World”, a post apocalyptic game full of mutants and high tech science fiction. The books look well used. On the bottom of the line metalink next to the box is a series of commlink addresses for Fortuna’s gaming group. These are also secretly Fortuna’s co-conspirators, and minor lord lings within the Tir.

6) Indoor Pool – What would an evil master minds “secret lair” be without an in door pool?! The pool is heated and cleaned continually by a small drone unit. In the pool closet are a few inflatable floaties (a killer whale, a crocodile, and a Dunkie Doll), and water wings. There is also a remote to release a tank of small piranhas in to the pool from their tank in the wall.
Unfortunately there are only three piranha left in the tank. Fortuna tested it once, and hadn’t figured on the high amounts of chemicals in the pool killing the fish after they killed the poor ork he tested it on. These are the survivors.

I know that this is a response thread to the regular Drop bear thread, but it's wildly off topic for any of our individual discussion boards. The Drop Bear thread is something of a special case, and we allow it, but please confine the drop bear Meta-Game to that single thread.

We do not have an off topic board anymore for very specific reasons, so let's keep the place clean and on topic as often as possible. Thanks.

After having read through the entire Planet of the Drop Bears thread, I have come to the realization that the Drop Bear Conspiracy must be stopped. They are nearly at 2500 posts, and this does not bode well.

Based upon what I have read, I have a deep understanding of their tactics, as well as the distribution of their forces. All those who wish to join the resistanct, post here and we shall develop our strategies. They may be in the lead now, but they have also leaked vital information at all times.

Be warned, those who remain loyal to the Drop Bear Conspiracy will be found out (the smell of urine and eucalyptus are dead give aways), and hunted approppriately. Immortal Elves are likewise not to be tolerated. While we understand the concept of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", your long stretching schemes have shown you to be untrustworthy.

I am currently running a resistance center based out of the San Francisco area, and have developed various types of arms and armor that should put the drop bears in place, easily.

This is a fight which we can and will win!!!
