Thanks for the condolences.
Yeah, meds are good.

As an update...I've been pretty doped up, so focus is slow going, but my wife back home is editing the manuscript of the story.
As soon as she's done and I convert her corrections to HTML I'll post it.

I'm sorry for the wait on this one.
I'll be starting the next one soon hopefully, and the blooper ones I'm going to start posting as well here soon.

Sorry about the wait here, and thank you for the patience.

Hey, take your time man. I've had major surgery myself, I know it takes a while to get back on your feet and feeling like yourself. (Gallbladder in my case)

Best wishes, and I await your first posting with anticipation!

I'm not that great, but two of my players are rather talented (check tengoku.deviantart.com and akafalimiede.deviantart.com if you care to see), and you could always try the Shadowrun Art group.

We should have a low-glow tac illuminator. One that only provides benefits to those with low-light vision, and therefore doesn't give your position away to breeder meat eyes.

How in the seven hells did you manage to dig up a two year dormant thread?

Scratch that. Why did you dig it up?

He probably did a forum search and didn't see the timestamp. A two-year-old thread looks the same as last week's thread.

Because he wanted to discuss tactical illuminators. I think SR needs tactical illuminators; don't you? In the first place, they're great for atmosphere (especially during a bug hunt), but on top of that they're a great low-cost alternative to cybereyes. You never have to worry about forgetting your flashlight if it's attached to your sidearm and you always take your sidearm.

Wouldn't a low-glow tac illuminator be the same as a lowlight flashlight? Got one :P.

Well, the idea is to have it mounted on your weapon so that a noncybered individual doesn't also have to hold a flashlight. Also, there can't possibly be any GM dickery where the GM says that since you're holding a flashlight or have it in a pocket or something the light isn't shining directly at your target and therefore you get additional penalties.

Is that anything like Superdickery?

Yes. Considering the power the GM weilds in the game world it's exactly like Superdickery.

So, be warned! If your GM sits down wearing a blue anatomy-revealing bodysuit and red underwear with a belt outside of that he may be out to inflict superdickery on you!

I've had many GMs, and one or two of them were even dicks, but I've never had a GM stop Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane's song from becoming a hit.

He never had Lois Lane be a popular musical performer who gets abducted by ant spirits and is partially transformed into an ant before being rescued by the PCs which forces her to withdraw from the public eye while snack manufacturing intruige whirls around the whole affair?
