I know you said you wanted everyone's character sheets in soon, but I can't get mine in until tomorrow evening; hope that's alright.

Goin' to sleep now; just got back from running Mutants and Masterminds for 7 hours. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I am just waiting to who works together and who runs for the hills when it really hits the excrement thrower. I am not even sure how I want to play it yet. I think this is going to be fun in just playing the breakdown or buildup of teamwork.

As an aside - have you considered the impact of all the undead on the Shedim? you might could find a use or three for a master shedim and a pack of its lesser brothers. something to mix in with your usual zombie plague goodness.

OK here is a potential replacement for Tink.

I give you, the impregnable, the improbable, the ignoble, the slightly whiffy, Brute.

Brute

Looks good. I liked the story behind Tink better, but this character seems to be fine otherwise (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I admit I skimped slightly on background there, I wanted to get it up as soon as.

I'll spend some time fleshing him out now.

You might want to actually get a chemical seal, HMVV cuts right through just about everything, especially since its a contact transmission and you are going hand to hand on them.

I went with the O-Cells instead.

I did buy an EE suit just in case.

Here is the final Draft for Jacob unless anyone sees any glaring mistakes.

[ Spoiler ]

Background is a little light but I will flesh it out over the next couple of days. Of course, since this is almost a guaranteed killfest, I am not sure how much effort in backstory I want to put into him.

I'm tweaking my entry, sorry it's taken so long.

Would it be okay to have Lost Loved One as a Negative Quality? Like, the LLO was lost because of this outbreak and the last communication he received was from this person. It could be an automated message, or whatever, but tracking this person down is a priority for him.

But that may sidetrack the whole mission for everyone.

I took lost loved one but haven't decided if I wanted to put her in Seattle or not. Guess I'll leave it up to Karoline. My opinion, is that this scenerio is a pretty goos story for the Lost Loved One quality. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, this is in fact a great setting for Lost Loved One. I already have a few various ideas of what might become of those loved ones (Not all of them bad. See I can be a nice GM). If you have a really strong preference on what ends up happening (Reunited if you manage to get to X, big cinematic hug and tears and happy 'the end' sign), feel free to run it past me. If not I'll figure out what happens to them.

Basically as soon as everyone has a character sheet, I'm ready to go. Thursday would likely be a great start day, as I currently don't have anything planned and should be around more or less the whole day to get things started. Friday I expect to be gone for most of the evening, and Saturday I'll be gone for a big chunk of the middle of the day.

Hey guys, sorry about being incommunicado these past few days. Real life is heaping a bunch of work on me. I won't be able to be on much for at least a week and a half. Which means I won't be able to create a suitably awesome drone rigger right now. Feel free to go ahead without me. But I would appreciate being on the backup list. Things should cool down for me by the end of the month. Hopefully by then there will be a space open for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The heavy synthleather of his Steampunk Overcoat swirled cinematically around him as he span to a halt. There was a gentle hum from the blade tucked back under his right armpit. For a moment that was the only noise in the room. A drop of thick, black, infected blood dripped from the tip of the ceramic parrying blade in his outstretched left hand.

The tiny splut it made when it hit the damp concrete of the warehouse floor broke the spell.

He was surrounded by half a dozen Ghouls in Go-Ganger leathers. Slowly, like glaciers cleaving from the ice pack, they crumpled to the ground, many of them in more than one pile.

What was it about the newly transformed? They all seem to develop a sense of personal invulnerability. Too many stupid Tri-D's. In his experience it didn't matter who or what you were, a good decapitation with a magical blade cured most if not all of your problems.

The cocky little mage had been hanging back, confident in the battle prowess of his little gang of ferals but now his blind face twisted with rage and contempt.

You might be impressive with a blade Adept but I am a master of true power. Burn in hell you bastard.

The Ghoul magician brought both hands together and with a tremendous force of Will attempted to ground a massive charge of physical mana into the Brute's body.

He brushed the Powerbolt aside, almost casually, with his left hand as he closed inexorably on the mage.

I'm sure I will. I'll look you up when I get there.

He made sure to shift his perceptions so that he could look the young mage in the 'eye' as the two feet of vibrating plasteel sticking through his chest sent what was left of his soul to whatever Metaplane such things went to after they were no longer bound to the physical world.

Just as the Slayer had predicted the anger, hatred and evil gave way, at the last, to fear and innocence.

I forgive you son, I'm sorry it had to end this way.

He let the boy's body slide to the ground and immediately whipped out a piece of cloth with which he meticulously cleaned the now silent blade of his sword.

He used a cigar trimmer to take a finger from each body before setting them ablaze.

He placed the fingers in a cigar case with a bio-hazard sticker on it.

He placed it in an inner pocket which he then patted affectionately.

Another ten grand in the bank and seven souls liberated.

Wonderful vignette. I've sent our first reserve a PM telling him that a slot has opened up for him and that he should submit his character as soon as he can. Hopefully we can get things rolling soon.

Well, our first backup has said they aren't interested anymore, which I think brings us to TheMidnightHobo, unless Ember wanted to join in (Wasn't sure if she wanted to join or just be in the peanut gallery)

You're welcome to join. We've got three people right now and a fourth on call, but he hasn't responded yet (only had a few hours if that), so very possible you could get in. Feel free to make your character and submit it, right now there is a good chance you'll be able to get in. Welcome to hell on earth Marston.

Hmm, also, I'm implementing a deadline. All characters that will be starting off will need to be in by tomorrow. I'll be throwing up the OOC board to post said characters on Friday, and depending on how quickly things move, we'll be starting early Friday or afternoon Saturday.

If everyone is -really- quick we'll start tomorrow, when I'll basically have all day to get us started quickly.

Just to remind everyone I'll be unavailable Friday night and saturday around noonish (Spending time with the family).

Also, I'll be around today for another half hour, then a 1 hour stint in about 3.5 hours, then not until nighttime most likely.

Hey, I'd love to play! It's taking a bit longer than I'd thought to get my guy done, but all I've got left is regular gear and advancing him with Karma; I can have him up in...6 hours. He's changed a bit though, cybered-out human.

Quick question - does FFBA and PPP stack with Full Body Armor? I know it doesn't stack with Military Armor, but they're a little different.

Hell, I think I'm more afraid of them moaning Witches and Super Mutant Behemoths ... oops wrong game. Window washers still exist right or have the drones taken over that job, too?
