Ash is really pissed at Bob. Ash wants to fry Bob with ritual spellcasting, but has no link to him and has no idea where Bob is. Ash's friend Chuck has assensed Bob before and even remembers his aura accurately. Chuck uses his Masking ability to make his aura appear just as Bob's does, giving Ash the chance to assense the aura. Can Ash now make a Symbolic Link for his ritual to target Bob?

I think you can only accurately copy an aura that you are currently assensing. That's what the rules for spoofing wards on SM pg. 124 require. Memory isn't enough.
Incidentally, this is a great change. Sneaking through wards this way used to be way too easy. |
