Anyone have any good resources for GMs? It seems it is getting harder and harder to create convincing and engaging storylines and scenarios for gamers. Tell me what websites you have used to help you GM. Are there any sites/groups specifically geared toward GMs? If you have other tricks and tools of the trade that work wonders share that too!
If there is no site strictly for GMs anyone want to start one up with me? |

I don't know of any that are GM specific, I know Blackjack's page had good GM info. But I'll be more then happy to create a site with you! Just let me know.

SR doesn't seem to have a whole lot in the way of online GM plot resources. However, there are a lot of good tools and places to get plot hooks. For instance, the random gang generator can be a big help with coming up with some quick opposition, and Ancient History's site can give you some good plot ideas.
A few other random tools which I found floating around the web in the 10 minutes since I started this post: Matrix Host generator A shadowrunner generator... sort of PC/NPC background generator |

Thanks for the lead but I was kinda looking for a community of GMs to discuss plots stories and tips with. I havent been able to find one so I decided that I would start one. If anyone knows of one that is already in progress it would be great if you could turn me onto it otherwise here is a group that would be a good place to start.

Occasionally, when I see a thread like this one, I rise up from the shadows and pipe up. My website has every run and piece of fan fiction I've ever written on it. You're welcome to take, borrow, run or twist anything you want from the site.
I'm also available through email, if you have questions about any of my material. The link is in my signature. SR13 |

Adam :grinbig: thats true but whats to stop you PC from accidently coming across a post where you explain every aspect of your story. It would kinda ruin the campaign for all of your players. That is why I was looking for an off dumpshock site or group.

Pretty simple. Tell your players not to read threads on Dumpshock that you start without checking with you first.
Roleplaying is about honesty and trust; those who want to cheat will find a way, no matter what. |

Some GMs simply spoiler tag everything at the start of the thread and specificly warn off their players at the start. Seems to work fairly well.

I wasnt saying that I don't trust my players but I thought if there was a seprate site then it would just discourage them from *accidently* hitting the left mouse button out of curosity. Besides I have never seen a "Spolier" tag so I didn't think to use such a thing, but I'll try that.

Spoiler tags look like the following. Just click on the word 'spoiler' to find out more.
