See also the "electric unicycle" from 2007 burning man, and the now commercially available SBU (self balancing unicycle). All the function, none of the vaporware, and Adam Savage endorses it.

I checked their site. They still need investor backing to go into production but it looks like they are shooting for a $3500 MSRP.

$3,500? Can you put that in standard purse-snatching units?

That's a pretty good price, if they manage production. I'm looking forward to my insurance premiums hitting the stratosphere.
