Has there ever been a solution for the question, if the duration is limited? Like always, i would prefer something at least a bit "official". Thank you

Basically how I run it is that you spend an action, pick a negative dice pool modifier, and HC does its thing on that modifier until you change it. If you want to use it on something else, you have to spend another complex action to change the target.
One thing I would do forbid it being used on is the 'successive extended test -1' modifier, because that breaks some of the core system and makes adepts better than everyone else.
