I'm looking through the SR3 rules in VR2 and the Matrix. I swear at some point in SR2 I made my own cyberdeck in a month or two and it was pretty good. Does it really take over a year to make a Rating 8 cyberdeck in SR3 or is it some terrible mistake? I've been looking for some errata but can't find any. Should I just give up and concentrate on making enough to buy a real cyberdeck off the shelf? That doesn't seem to fit the style...

Yeah, building a machine that high qulity really does take that long. There's a reason that most deckers are in the 4-6 rating bracket. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Having to to draw all the little traces with you homemade electron microscope must get very tiresome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
