A friend of mine is going to be thirty in a few days. I'm looking for a nice rpg related gift for him.
What is rare for Shadowrun ? Universal Brotherhood, I'll check that, but what else ? He already have Threats. Thank you. |

Hmmm. What doesn't he have?
If you want books, try Aztlan or maybe even a good oldie: the Harlequin campaign if you can find it. Shadows of Europe if that's something he doesn't have yet. Rare: UB, Lone Star, PoaD. Don |

Ive seen Dunkelzahns Secrets sell for redicuolus sums on Amazon.com, like 50-60 bucks used. If you could get it for less or think its cool to pay that much, itd be a good gift. If hes the GM, that is.

Apparently he already has one of those on the way :) Shadows of Europe is brand new - if you can convince his girlfriend to make sure he doesn't buy it before his birthday that would be a possibility. |

Well if he doesn't have Awakenings 2057 I'd get him that considering it's one of the best sources for character ideas for any magical character. tons better then MITS.

Corporate Shadowfiles is rare? Hmmm...if my copy weren't all beat up, I'd put it up on eBay for some extra cash :P
UB, Lone Star, Aztlan, Denver Boxed Set, Harlequin, Tir Tairngire, and Tir nA nOg usually go for the most on eBay when they're sold. You might also check on eBay for some of the convention promos. They pop up once a month or so. Stuff like a DocWagon first aid kit, press passes to the reading of Dunkelzahn's Will, etc. They usually end up going for $50-100 though, so this better be a good friend or you'd better have a lot of extra cash. If the later is the case, do you want to be my friend? ^_^;; The Abstruse One |

His girlfriend is paying, me, I'm just doing the search :) The promo stuff are a good idea, but his birthday is in two weeks. For the other answers, he already have 90-95 percent of published stuff (threats, denver, Lone Star, California...). I should have told you that first. |

While not explicitly Shadowrun, I highly suggest a Masterscreen Quad-fold (if you can find one). Nothing better then making your own GM screen!
If you are not familiar with them; http://www.svgames.com/cit2100.html They can be hard to get though, I think I got mine through CyberDungeon.com -Wolf |
