Hey everyone,
I recently wrote a backstory for my Shadowrun mage, Ascendo (pronounced "uh-shen-doh"). The game takes place in 2065 and uses third edition rules. I thought that some of you might enjoy the story. Also, I'd be interested to hear if I got any factual bits wrong. I know that the "armor" spell is supposed to have a glow; my GM made a house rule that a version of the spell exists which lacks the glow. Other than that, I think the story should be compatible with SR3 cannon. It's written as a post to Shadowland, in the tradition of the sourcebooks. It is a 56kb PDF file, available here.
