I was wondering, could our PM inboxes be bigger? We can only get at most 50 messages, sent and inboxed. It's kinda annoying... Much appreciation if you do it. I'm sure it doesn't take up that much server space.

@emo
There is an archive function that allows you to download and save your PMs as an Excel file or an HTML file. Go to your inbox and click "Archive Messages" in the left hand menu. (Personally, I suggest using the HTML option, because when I tried the Excel option it looked like crap.) |

If you ever try to run a game or contest on Dumpshock, you will soon see how 50 messages is limiting. I'm not saying the messages can't be moved elsewhere, but it does get to be a hassle.

Or, hell, if you get into any extended conversation via PM. |

Everyone should have larger inboxes now.
I should say, however, that I don't recommend long term storage of messages -- if Dumpshock shuts down or goes down indefinately you'll obviously lose access to them, and I can't imagine a situation where using PMs is actually more efficient than using a [good] email client, with better searching, threading, etc. |

Ooops. You're in the Dumpshocked group, and I didn't change the mailbox size for that group. It should be fixed now.

Just want to throw out sincere thanks to the admins (and to Emo for initiating the change) - it's a huge help for busy GMs.
Oh, and while I'm at it, thanks for fixing the "who's online" thingie. |
