This isn't working for me still. Is this still a problem for anyone else? I read the sticky but it is 2 months old, so I wasnt sure if tis the same problem or not. I'm not nagging, I just wasn't sure if it was still a known issue or not. Any ETA on it, if it is?
thanks! :) |

Same issue. We're updating the forum software soon so it isn't worth the time to try and fix the issues with this version.

You may want to change "soon" to "eventually", seeing as how it's been "soon" for at least six months now :)

Yup, same deal.
Also, we're aware that people have varying opinions on the definition of "soon". ;) Sorry for the delay, but it will get done when it gets done. Thanks. |

I did see that comment. But since it was made a couple of months ago and did not give a time dead line itself, I thought I would point out there were people still in that situation.

If by "people" you mean "everyone", yeah :)

Nope! Probably not going to be done until the new forums/software gets implemented. |

When is that? Something turned the standard font for text into italics, and I can´t find a way to turn that back. Couldn´t the control settings set that back?

That sounds like something on your end, Ryu -- does that persist when you use a different web browser, not logged in?
And it looks like we'll be taking DSF down for a few days this week to finally do the upgrade. |

That something of a mixed blessing. How long do you think that the Forums will be inaccessible? |

It is machine-specific, my account works as it used to on another machine.
It did affect another forum too (other software). My hope was that maybe the controls on DS might allow me to change text format, the software of the other forum does not allow that. Days without DS *shudder* Good luck! |

Ryu: I haven't heard anything else similar from anyone else; it's something gimpy on your end, not ours.
Fortune: Not sure. There's no way to avoid some downtime, and it will depend on how smoothly it goes, and Mark and I's work schedule. But I don't expect it being more than 2 days. |

That's cool, thanks. I understand the need for downtime, and I'm quite sure that you guys will minimize that downtime as much as you can.

I meant no offense, I was just searching for a possible solution on DS. I assume the problem was caused by some other website I don´t even remember. Thanks!
