...well Butt Farve's sure singing a different tune...

You're a Jet all the way
From your first intercept
To your last fumblin' day.

As much as I wanted to see him end it all in a cheesehead, I'm glad the saga there is over. I've got hope the Rodgers can do something good this year after everyone's performances last year. I realize that I'll probably have to suffer through some bad years coming up though. Oh well, at least I'm not a Brown's fan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

...ain't that the truth.

Yeah both sides pretty much coughed this one up. Now GB management will always be suspect, and Farve's legacy has been tarnished by the way he dealt with all this.

But yes, finally it's over, we can get on with readying for the upcoming season and at least be content with the knowledge the Packers won't meet the Jets till 2013 unless they both end up in the Superbowl. Now wouldn't that be Ironic. Green Bay defeats Bret & the Jets and gets a First round pick out of the deal...sweet. Goooooooo Jets! J...E...T...S. Jets! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

Favre has been tarnishing his legacy for the past couple offseasons...so I really just see this as more of the same and honestly, I am glad GB put their foot down and didn't let Favre have his way a third year in a row.

As for me...I'm hoping the changes in Miami can finally get this team moving in the right direction. To think that the longest tenured player is Ricky Williams makes me...well, uneasy to say the least. I hope that Henne can be a Brady-esque type and really lead this team or Parcells will be able to put his mark on the team and turn it into a winner...it should be a interesting season...

...that's exactly the way I felt when he decided to un-retire. :nomorewaffle:

Yeah, but Miami took a big hit on the DL in that trade they made with the Skins.

...OK it's only pre-season, but I stll love to see the Viqueens get pummeled like they did at the hands of Seneca Wallace and the SeaSquawks on Friday Night.

See, I can root for other teams even though I'm a homer for the Green and Gold. Just that they have to be playing DaBears, Viqueens and/or Cowardly Lions

...remember seeing a great T-shirt once. Though baseball related it fits. "I'm a fan of two teams, the Boston Red Sox and whoever is playing the Yankees."
