While I'm usually a Shadowrun GM but for a change of pace I'm running a forum game on an anime board. It's my own little simple game system and it's the sort of game where last night many players were fighting for their lives.
Today: beach party. Also I should warn you the board in question is rated PG. Anyway so my problem is that the male/female ratio is getting off. Too many girls. And these are younger players, so they're a little shy and emo. I'm having to work to bat them together since it's supposed to be a social game. Anyway there are a lot of experienced, confidant, male players around here. So what I'm looking for is someone who I can use like a social homing missile. As in I could say (or better yet not have to say), OK we've got a sad catgirl in snow over there that's being ignored. Go get her. You'd probably be bouncing from person to person, or if you can accumulate a harem of PCs than fine. It'd be nice if you'd be up for being used to advance the plot as well. It's already a large group so I'm just looking for one person who could log in multiple times a day (because, really, this should be fun, if I wasn't the GM I'd already be doing it). Obviously liking anime is a plus with this crowd, but not required. |

SR3 or 4? some info would be needed as to what kind of game too My own little system. (hence why this is in the general gaming board not the SR board). It's extremely rudimentary. For example combat is resolved by a single roll that determines the victor and the degree of success maybe with modifiers based on tactics used. The player is then free to describe the action in the full fight as they see fit. Thusly a fight can be resolved in one or two posts and one roll instead of many of both. |

LOL
I'm totally down for this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) For one, I almost busted an organ reading this topic. For another, I believe it is a worthy cause for any roleplaying geek to lend a hand to training the next generation of gamer girls. Shit, I might be able to drag the daughters of some of my older friends into this. Mwahaha. |

also: i would probably be a good fit . . but as i am over here in germany, their sleepy time most likely does not match up with mine *g* |

First of all at the moment DocTaotsu is trying to jam his whole leg in the door in regards to the spot, so he might get the first shot. I've already gotten like eight PMs from him on the matter.
You know what they say. The early bird gets the catgirl in the miniskirt. Or rather that's what they should say if they actually want to get us out of bed. LOL I'm totally down for this. Mwahaha. Actually the RP is packed with people as it is. I already got authorization to start a second thread if I can get a second GM. So if you can bring some more girls and could GM yourself or something we might be able to do that. Just same game style and same world. Just another island over or something... Maybe Stahlseele could be your DSF alpha mole. say sunny, you don't happen to work for some bigger federal bureau that has decided to do certain investigations by chance? also: i would probably be a good fit . . but as i am over here in germany, their sleepy time most likely does not match up with mine *g* Actually these people are from all over. Or at least their posting times are. And no I'm not secretly Chris Hansen. Though it would be awsome if he was a Shadowrun fan. He could do cameos at cons. Just when the runners think they've pulled off the job the GM walks out and he walks in. "So. What were you planning to do with that prototype there?" "Uh. We just, you know, were transporting it for the company. We'll, uh, just finish putting it back where it belongs." "Now see in these logs from their server it looks like your had to hack into their system to get the doors open. Isn't that odd for a delevery?" *Troll makes a break for it and gets hit by eight tasers just outside the door. To Catch A Shadowrunner Ok. I'm totally adding that into my SR campaign at some point. You know people would buy those trid recordings. |

GM for a bunch of catgirls? XD, that might be an interesting adventure. Not sure if I'll have time for it though, I'm already running a game here on DS. What's the forum where the game is being hosted? I'll check it out and see how beefy a time commitment is required to run a game.

PM sent, don't spread it around.
Actully do we have any women here? IF we did maybe we could use them with seeding this. If they'd be interested is something like this. |

If they're here, they probably aren't so young. Mostly it would be for game balance in the male/female ratio. But also a bunch of players to start is kinda need |

A few years ago I played in a Big Eyes, Small Mouth campaign for which my daughter was the GM.(?storyteller?) One old guy and a bunch of cat/dragon/wizard girls, with a couple of young guys drifting in and out. It was surreal. I had a GREAT time. Yes, as the girls approached their twenties, they stopped looking like girls. Fortunately, they kept feeling to me like my daughters.

You need another? I'm on late or early, depending on your time zone, but hey, we seem to answer enough of one anothers posts that it can't be too far off. Give me a holler if you want me.

Anyway, I checked out the site and some of them are actually pretty good roleplayers with a decent maturity spread. I was afraid it was gonna be swamped with twelve year olds, but some of them are actually older than I am. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I never really got into free form games, but I think anime rocks, so I might sign up for one of the games there when I'm less busy.

Well, maybe I do need someone again. Doc was all excited and then he kinda vanished. *shrug*
Shoot me a PM. Remember you wouldn't be a regular player entirely. A bit like a mole. Again for runners I figure being a little undercover shouldn't be too hard a mental leap. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And it helps a lot if you're on oftenish. Especially in the timeframe right after I'm posting this. So if you think you're up for it contact me fast. |

Cantankerous is making a move.
Honestly I just want someone to come in who has what it takes. I may seem a little impatient here, but fraggit I've got sad and lonely anime girls on my hands here. And the emos I'm getting on that board just aren't cutting it. ( And social interactions with the GM don't count. That'd be like going to the dance with your dad or something.) Think like this: http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u201/Ke...rthingimade.jpg http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/1929/11390241424904me.jpg |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Though for the record at this point I'm not even being picky about just having one of you guys there's enough to go around to keep two of you busy I think if it happens to be that way. |

This is unreal. I just had the wildest damned day I've had in months, and it may now get worse in the future. To top it I had a looong detailed character write up, but not boring, intense stuff a GM or other players could really use and the damned forum there DUMPED IT in the process of posting. Just my damned luck today, really. I'll try it again tomorrow and see if I get luckier but wow, what a weird, shitty day.

Real Life is making demands of my time again, as such I can't Alpha Male out in this game. Soo... yeah, I vacate the position for anyone else who wants a harem of nubile young anime girls...

So only Isshia has the stones and he lost them today or something.
I'll admit to also being surprised this has taken so long. I suppose a lot of DSFers don't go to the General Gaming Board. But I think GGB guys are the sort I'm looking for anyway. |

I've got krayola red in. We'll see how well he does. A second from here would still be OK. I think one of the AF forum guys dropped. |
