Hello, everyone!
Simply wanted to say that I'm rather pleased with the freshly minted version of the Rigger book. Kudos to all involved in straightening out the kinks! B/R costs seem clean and concise. And photos, too! The sundry Rigger texts have always been the favorite of those of us who specialise in autos, aeros, and all things that get one from point A to point B. And thanks to the publisher for the reprint! |

I'm still griping about the occasional pic that got left out.

Perhaps. But I'm looking on the bright side. One of my chief problems with Rigger 2 was the lack of art. I find the new book overall a fine (and necessary) improvement. |

This seems to be a good a place as any to say this:
You notice they gave AutoGyro Chassis an VSTOL L/T profile, but no stall speed? Makes you think. :) |

Quite. I suppose the "S" must be removed from VSTOL. Another item for a future errata list, I should think. Mayhaps we should alert Someone In Charge. |

It's possible that it generates just enough force to suspend itself, but not actually to lift without some aerodynamic support through forward motion. That would provide VSTOL takeoff/landing with no stall speed.

could someone clarify ramming/crashing for me?
in sr3 i cant see any inclusion of body in the damage/effectivnes of a crash.. from what i understand, a 8 tonne mack truck traveling at 150mpt wont break through any barrier8 or higher, but a 2 gram fly traveling at 300mpt would break through barrier15 are these rules changed in rigger3? |
