I've started browsing the wiki, and Almanac but can anyone tell me how the war between the Siberian sepratist's and the Russian's panned out? Or is that an ongoing thing?

Fatum, our on call russian, did a lot of work on a scenario for the whole Yakut-Russia conflict. Either by putting together everything ever written as well as writing new stuff. Here is the link

Heh, the bit about VDV reminds me of an old joke: "How does a Russian parachute work? - Like an airbag. It opens on impact." Mostly because trolls could jump like that, kick up a big dust cloud upon landing, then shake it off and merrily go on kicking humongous amounts of ass.
