It kicks ass even in this first release stage. Evryone who has Half-Life 2 should check it out.

Their cyberspace very much reminds me of the default UMS iconography as it was presented in the original Virtual Realities. Environments made out of boxes of color-coded glowing neon connected by datalines that are almost invisible from the outside, but solid when you're inside them. And as icing on the cake, gravity has no real meaning here.
And that's just their cyberspace. Their meatspace is pretty kick-ass too, especially the thermographic vision. [Edit: Searching for "Shadowrun" on their forums brings up almost 2 dozen thread hits. After reading a few, it seems that the influences are intentional.] |

Now if they will only put in some mages and shamans...
Oh and an astral space! Woot! Talk about having layers upon layers to a game. |

Actually, psychic powers would be pretty neat. Not magic per se, but telekinesis and stuff. That would rule. Oh, and stunts like diving and rolling, and jump kicks. And katas to do with the katanas. And monowhips. And drones. I know they are planning vehicles.
