Just curious what kind of odd weapons other folks have used as players or had players use as GM's.

Feel free to throw it all out there, improvised weapons, strange choices in firearms, weapon foci, etc..


I'll start us off. As a player, I actually ran a street sam who carried a baseball bat as a backup weapon.

I had a player who, as a gunslinger adept, insisted on only using Colt Single Action Army revolvers.

I had another player (playing a troll) rip the cyberarm off of a Yakuza enforcer, and proceed to beat down most of a bar with it before being brought down by multiple (4 if I recall correctly) taser hits.

That would be the less exciting and more realistic assumption - noone thinks her dangerous until they find themselves with knives in their kidneys and wonder why it could have come to this ...

She's like Kohl. Just ... well, she does have smarts too. Real smarts, not instincts like the Fat Old Man has. Propably the most talented politican we had ... since the days of Schmidt and Brandt.

Anyway, so much for derailing ...

Have I already mentioned that one time where the elf max-charisma pheromone laden seduction 6 chick undressed int he middle of a gunfight and attempted to seduce the opfor? I think I have, but ... does that count as highly unconventional weapons or rather conventional idiocy?
