Does anyone do this? Obviously playing a straight Mary Sue is pretty lame in any RPG, but I'm even more appalled by some of the cartoonish backstories I see for most "original" or "different" characters. I might not want to play as myself, but it might be interesting to play as some other Dumpshocker's Sixth World alter ego, and the resulting backstory, Qualities, and skill mix might seem more "real" than something based purely on fiction.
Anyone interested in posting something along these lines? I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours. |
